Our view of reality as human consciousness encompasses what we see, hear, feel, smell, taste, and think. But what we perceive is not all there is. Reality, as experienced by humans, is just one out of an uncontainable number of nuanced perspectives.
Dolphins communicate via echolocation – sounds produced by vibrations through their nasal tissue. Birds are able to migrate to safer locations throughout seasonal changes based on their sense of the Earth’s magnetic field – orienting themselves towards different directions and navigating vast distances.
Human vision or visible light encompasses 0.0035 % of the electromagnetic spectrum. To us, gamma rays and x-rays, ultraviolet and infrared, radio, and microwaves are invisible to the naked eye. This makes me wonder what else is out there that we are clueless to.
Radio waves are all around us – transmitting information between millions and millions of electronic devices around the world, including, of course, the device you are currently reading this on.
What we are consciously aware of is a mere drop in an ocean of light waves and energetic forces that exist in this reality.
